This was Helen’s birthday picnic, out at lake Temescal. We burned meat on the grills, Russ made a cake with a whole bag of oreos crumpled on top, Helen’s sister DJed, everyone dressed up as bugs. I was a shutterbug, which I don’t think anyone got? But I may have forgotten to make my dad-joke costume known.
